３月３０日は鎌倉の段葛の改修が終わり、渡り初めのイベントが行われました。
段葛は鎌倉の八幡宮の参道で、二の鳥居から八幡宮までの、車道の中央に
人が歩ける参道です。
１１月４日からの改修工事が無事終了して３月３０日の桜の開花に合わせて
のお披露目です。
桜が植えられる前は明治時代に松や梅が植えられてました。
桜が植えられたのは1918年（大正７年）で、近年は乳母桜となり、若い桜が植えられました。
（老兵は消え去る？） つつじも無くなって個人的には寂しいです。
段葛は、１１８２年（養和２年）３月１５日に源頼朝が妻の政子の安産祈願の為に造営させたそうです。
２５０本の桜は１８０本の若い桜に減らされました。
乳母桜は何処へ行ったか気になるところです。
週末は満開になると思いますので、若い桜に会いにに行ってください。
マナーは日本人として恥ずかしくない花見見物にしましょうね。

鎌倉の小町にあるギャラリーに行ってきました。
一翠堂という鎌倉彫のギャラリーです。
鎌倉の東口を出て小町通りに入り二本目の四つ角を右折するとあります。
当日は能面の展示がされていましたので簡単な説明をします。
大月光勲能面展で３月２４日より２８日までの展示です。
展示の能面はNo.1からNo.19までです。
No.1の≪父尉≫（ちちのじょう）は翁の父であり、家門繁栄、子孫繁昌を祝う老人
No.2の≪翁≫（おきな）は天下泰平や寿命の祝福をする老翁の神です。
その他すべての目録は展示場で無料で配布されてますので、この機会に是非御覧下さい。
また、４月１３日からは京都の京都文化博物館で展示されます。

３月２０日は大船の玉縄学習センターで「鎌倉国宝館出張講座」で、鎌倉の
仏像 基礎知識の講義を受けました。
講師：塚本麻衣子先生で鎌倉国宝館学芸嘱託員でした。
先生の許可を受けてその内容をお伝えします。
１．鎌倉の仏像をつくった人々
勝長寿院は現在は廃寺で1184年に源頼朝が仏師の南都（奈良）大仏師成朝に阿弥陀如来を
作らせたそうです。
1189年には伊豆の願成就院で、北条時政が、仏師の運慶に作らせたそうです。
同年に横須賀の浄楽寺で、和田義盛が、運慶や小仏師１０人に命じて作らせたそうです。
運慶の仏像の特徴は圧倒的なボリューム感と、流れるような衣文が特徴らしいです。
横から見ると背中から胸への厚さが他の時代より厚いです。
興味があるのは仏師さんの仕事は少なくなると鎌倉彫の仕事を始めたそうです。
鎌倉仏師のその後は、室町時代の扇谷仏師と言われ三橋家や後藤家と呼ばれたそうです。
新しい形 法衣垂下 衣を台座から長く垂らす形や遊戯座で片足をおろし、くつろぐポーズ
新しい技法 土紋といい土を型抜きして像の表面に張り付ける立体的な技法等です。
本日は永くなるので、次回は「鎌倉の不思議 謎の巨大仏像をお伝えします。
それにちなんで今朝の毎日新聞の記事で、鎌倉の大仏は１３世紀の創建当時から顔だけが
金色だった可能性があるそうです（黄金のツタンカーメン風）
現在は１１日に修復して一般公開してるので是非見て下さい。
完成の年月日は吾妻鏡でも記載されていないそうですので、文献で探してみたいと思います。
長谷の観音様も完成年月日不明であそうです。

午前中の雨が止んだので、午後から八幡宮方面に散歩しました。
段葛は現在工事中で無粋な塀がありますが、徐々に取れてきて、３月中には
リニューアルされる予定です。
八幡様へ行く途中に凸凹堂という装飾の石の店があり、多数の誕生石が飾って
ありました。価格も手ごろなので一度覗いて見て下さい。
八幡様の桜は未だですが、もう花弁が膨らみ始めてる木もありました。
国宝館では土曜日には展示物の説明会がありましたので入ってみました。
説明を聞く人は私以外は北海道からのご夫婦の２名で、説明される女性の塚本さんには
気の毒をしましたが、土曜日には説明がありますので、仏像に興味がある人には良いですよ。
